Not your typical thief manga, to be sure!
On Niwa Daisuke’s fourteenth birthday, getting rejected by the girl he loves seems like the worst of his problems. Until something strange happens to him…he discovers that he is the heir to a thieves’ legacy, and now that he has come of age, he must take up the life of crime that his grandfather before him led! A cunning personality named Dark lives within Daisuke, and whenever he thinks too much about the girl he likes, he turns into Dark. Of course, there’s more to the intrigue when it’s revealed who Dark likes…and the presence of a classmates’ long-standing family fued with the Niwas comes to light.
This series by Sugisaki Yukiru is being published in English by Tokyopop, and the tenth and finally eleventh volumes will be released in the next few months. It’s a great mix of genres that you shouldn’t miss!

This manga is very good. Is it only out in english?? I want to buy it in either japanese or chinese but can not find it yet. How many languages is DNAngel manga/ dvd/ movie out in??

It certainly is available in Japanese; the latest volume (11) made last week’s Top Ten seller list. I’m not entirely sure about Chinese but I would not be surprised.

DNAngel(manga) is available in chinese (it’s waaaay cheaper than the english version). I’m not sure about the anime…O_<

I have been wondering the same thing. Why doesn’t Tokyopop show volume 11? And also, does anyone know about those D.N.Angel novels? In one of the manga they mentioned novels. Like ‘DNAngel and the Snow Queen’ or something like that. What are those?

well everyone the 11th vol. is finally coming out and is soon to be posted on tokyopop. Because the japanese volumes came out befor the english ones id say its already out in english. But i hear that its like half the size of all the rest and its the last one!!!

Yah… to go along with the many people wondering about the 11th book, I have up to 10 also, and Have wondered why it hasnt come out… But from the 10th book, it doesnt seem that number 11 will be the last one… or… well it could possibly be, But I would of stoped it at the 12th, cuz… it jsut seems like the right number to end a series. I dont think its going to be half the size though, cuz that would sorta ruin it.. Oh well, not my thing to say ^^ I cant wait for it to come out.

Volume 11 is being released September 13th and is 192 pages long, which is about the average length for a manga. I don’t think it’s the last one, the summary doesn’t seem to say that to me at all and generally final volumes are big deal for popular series, like Rurouni Kenshin, in the summary it said ‘final volume’ and had a free poster (which I own). So its coming soon-ish and probably isn’t the last volume.

I seriously doubt vol.11 is the last and can be half of other’s volume size.
Why?
Think about the storyline here.
1)Risa is kidnapped by Argentine.
2)Daisuke and Dark still haven’t found them yet.
3)Riku is with her mom, sick.
4)Risa and Riku still don’t know the truth about each other.
5)Satoshi is still in depression and isn’t cured of his other side.
6)And Dark is yet to go in an all-out fight with Krad.
Now can someone tell me how ALL of this can be done in about a 40-page wrap-up?!
Seriously!! If it’s the last it better not be stupid. >=(
And I won’t listen to rumors because before, everyone said that vol. 10 was the last and when it came out, it wasn’t. The series is still ongoing people!!

No, vol 11 is not the end. Very often mangakas tend to take a break from a series they have been working on to focus instead on another title, much like Clamp hasn’t finish “X”. I personaly don’t think that the series will end up in vol 12, nor 13 nor very soon for that matter, we still have to consider that besides the conflict between argentine and daisuke, there is still the feud between the niwas and hikaris to see.

I live in Southern California and the 11th DNAngel is now out in all of my local bookstores. It is definitely not the last book, unless Sugisaki Yukiru wanted to end the manga series…without tying up any loose ends…and leaving us all in the dark.
You can watch DNAngel fansubs and English dubs on YouTube. Just look up DNAngel 1, and there’ll be at least two+ people with the entire series posted up. The anime is considerably shorter and less detailed than the manga, of course, so be aware of that. The anime is missing a couple of characters and events (and it adds its own), and ends with 26 (I think o_O) Stages. Of course, with all the differences between the manga and anime, then the ending of the anime is probably different from the manga’s ending (which I anxiously await).

Well, I am very certain that there is more D.N. Angel to come in the future. I know volume 11 is not the last one. At the end of 11 it tells what is to come and how could it be the last with that big of a cliffhanger?
It’s just really sad that Sugisaki-sama is waiting this long to write another.

Okay, sorry to bug in so late but now it’s August 13th 2007 and….well no news of anything? So I quess that means that DN Angel is officially now an anime instead of a manga(which really sucks ‘cuz Daiskue had a really weak voice in the English version of the anime) and I reallyreally liked the manga,,,it’s a bit like Furuba, when the anime got cut off in the end of 1st season…

i luv DNAngel but vol. 12 isnt the final volume. n DNAngel vol. 11, the back reads, ‘Coming soon-the next exciting installment of D*N*Angel!’ & then it goes through the usual dicription/preview of the next volume. Be here for D*N*ANGEL volume 12! unquote…! so yay! and besides, when a manga is at its final volume, on the back cover, it says ‘THE FINAL VOLUME IS HERE’ or something like that depending on the manga. the reason everyone’s saying that the 11th is the final volume is because a year after the 11th was released, the 12th still isn’t out… T.T i wanna DNAngel!!! WAAAAAAA!!! lolz anyways, n the final epi/chapt, Daisuke….*cut off from spreading details*
